While they attempted to do this in all the building categories and research categories by making each level much more expensive than the last, this does not apply to fleet, meaning that you can have players with fleets of hundreds of millions of credits, compared to someone whose been a player a month ahving a fleet of a few hundred thousand. It would seem to me there should be more to balance the curve a little more. If you wanted to end that player's game at any time on a whim you could without exerting any effort.
This results in a certain dominance of some play factors by a handful of long-time players. the different between someone of Fuzz's power and a level 30 player is many many orders of magnitude, far greater than on any MMORPG in existance.
And I think I'm correct in that players over the rank of 30 are fair game to anyone. There's really nothing to keep the top players from growing and growing. I would think I'd be able to have an account on all servers without having to invest more money.Īlso, the gap between players seems a little wide. I am very much enjoying the game but I have a couple quibbles.Īm I correct in understanding that if I want to have an upgraded account on a second server I have to pay the full fee again? That seems excessive.
